TEHRAN -- Renowned Iranian stage director Behruz Gharibpur was appointed to preside over the jury of the World Festival of Puppet Arts in Prague.

Gharibpur has been invited to head the jury members of the festival which will be held from May 30 to June 5.
Jerry Bickel from the U.S. and Sid Ahmed Meddah from Algeria are some of the other members of the jury. This is the fourth time that Gharibpur is among the jury members of the festival.
Since 1996 the World Festival of Puppet Art has welcomed Puppeteers from all over the World to meet and share their craft in Prague—the Heart of Europe—and to celebrate the Art of Puppetry.
